A CLEVER WAY TO PATCH A HOLE IN THE WALL

There was a hole in the Master bathroom wall…two holes actually… each of them about the size of a nickel. I tried using cement board that I had lying around…it did not fit…

Since  I was in the bathroom, I looked around at what I had to use….and suddenly I spied a possible solution!

TUTORIAL:

YOU WILL NEED:

I Cut the sponges into piece ever so slightly larger than each hole…and plugged the holes…

I plugged each hole with a piece of makeup sponge!

When it was dry, I sanded the whole area….and then I painted the whole wall…

  1. That is an amazing trick. I especially like this idea because the sponges are so easy to deal with as far as prep for installation. I cannot see the patch either. Good job! Good thinking!

  2. I love this. My boys (now 23 and 25) placed a quarter sized hole in their wall in middle school. I hung a poster not quite sure of what to do. Now I know. Thanks.
