The FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Cooper started First Grade.
Tate 5th and Phoebe 4rth.
Two week after this photo was taken, my Mom passed away.
Has it been 5 Years?

….sometimes, most of the time, in fact,
all you can do is take a deep breath. take a lot of pictures and go walk your dog.
It all goes MUCH MUCH MUCH too fast. There is no way to stop it, or even to slow it down.
No way to capture it adequately…document it enough…the weight cannot be measured on a scale.
Everyone around you is doing the same thing and you just look at each other, your mouth about to speak…
and then you just wave.
SAVOR EACH AND EVERY BIG, FAT, STUPID, SORRY, HAPPY, SILLY, SAD AND
IMPORTANT… MOMENT.
WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO DO?
Your absolutely right!! It goes by sooo fast. And the older I get and the less I remember, I wish I had the technology of today to have documented more when my kids were young.
YOur precious post brought a tear to my eye. What darling children!!!! And such wise words, Lesli! I took pictures every year and I have a little “moment” each year thinking about those school days that I loved so much.
