BLIZZARD – THE FIRST OF 2014

BLIZZARD 20" X 20" ACRYLIC ON CANVAS NOW ON U GALLERY!!!
“BLIZZARD” ……….20″ X 20″ ACRYLIC ON CANVAS
NOW ON UGALLERY!!!

One day, my daughter and I spied a neighbor’s goat outside of his pen, eating the sweet grass by the curb. We tried to open the pen (and in the process got quite a shock from the electric fence designed to keep him inside). We spent a good half an hour trying to get that durn goat back in!!!

Finally, exasperated and pooped we were about to give up….”Stay outside!!!” we said ….”your owner will be home soon enough and he can deal with you!”

……..as if he wanted to make sure we knew who was boss, he strolled over, looked at us, gave a little bleat and did a 6 foot vertical jump BACK into the pen and trotted off to continue eating!

Have a great weekend!!!!

  1. He is adorable! Be careful or you’ll end up with a herd of goats (portraits, that is). We are loving our portrait of Mabel! My 14 year old son studies it regularly. The other day, he complimented your use of pink in the portrait. “It just seems so right for Mabel but I never would have thought that without seeing it.” Your work is making us smile daily.
