I AM HERE!!!
I am here!!!
in my favorite place on Earth, with 3 of my 4 favorite people.
(Our eldest is visting a friend in Boston)
My husband and our two youngest arrived a few hours ago,
…checked into the hotel and hopped right on out to Times Square.
On the way out, we slipped into the lobby of the Hilton and
for the FIRST TIME in this journey to Blogher, I got the tummy tickle!
The excited feeling in my belly that something really amazing is about to happen.
And
IT WILL BE GREAT.
The buzz is in the air, and I kept seeing people who looking sort of
“Bloggerish” and told myself…
“They must be here for Blogher too!!!
Way back, when I lived here,
No REAL NEW YORKER would meander around
No REAL NEW YORKER would meander around
Times Square and this center of the Universe
was not quite so, well, clean and Theme Park-ish
was not quite so, well, clean and Theme Park-ish
and you could not wander down and
drop a wallet full of cash in AN m&m store
(I am wearing my new m&m jammies! right now!)
or ride a GIANT 3 story carousel in the Toys r Us store.
Life is about change and embracing it all…
and I have to say
walking around in Times square, with my buddies and a bag full of
m&ms and munching on falafel

sandwiches for dinner at
11:30 pm…
all while looking at the naked cowboy…
I am just not sure I could get much happier!
