HOLIDAY DECORATIONS

OUR HOUSE IS OFFICIALLY “OFF THE MARKET”.

We will put it back on in the early Spring, but right now we are enjoying a breather…AHHHHH.

The kids are ALL home for Christmas!

I took a moment today and snapped some photos of our clean (for the moment anyway) house and the Holiday decorations that adorn!

My Mom did amazing needlepoint and WHEN THE KIDS WERE EACH BORN made stockings for me and the kids. Sadly she did not finish Damon’s so he uses the Disney “TIGGER” stocking that we got baby Tate for his first Christmas!

FOR YEARS, IT SEEMED THAT EACH HOLIDAY SEASON I WOULD MAKE SOMETHING…THAT BECAME A PART OF OUR TRADITIONAL HOLIDAY DECORATIONS. OFTEN, I WOULD GET ON A ROLL AND MAKE AND SELL THESE THINGS. ONE YEAR IT WAS MY RAGGY VINES (click on the link for a tutorial) …

AND UP THE STAIRS AND OVER THE RAILING….

ANOTHER YEAR I MADE these MESSAGE BOARDS.

WE USE THE MESSGAE BOARDS TO DISPLAY THE CHRISTMAS CARDS AS THEY ARRIVE.

  1. Ah! One more Christmas at the old country house with all of the family together. One more opportunity to gather memories together to be pulled out next year and remembered with fondness and glad hearts as you celebrate Christmas in your new home! Merry Christmas to one and all!
