MONDAY MAKEOVER – CONSOLIDATING LEFTOVER PAINT – PASTEL PLAY

THE OTHER DAY…I DECIDED TO CLEAN UP MY PAINTS.

Quite often I do not clean as I go and the PAINT lids, sit on the table and NOT on the cans and the tops get all gunky and hard to close. So, bought a bunch of jams jars and and consolidated the leftover paints…the colors were so pretty as I poured them into their respective jars.

I went to take out the trash and THIS is what I saw….

...all the pretty colors!
…all the pretty colors!

…as soon as I saw these I knew I needed to paint a painting with THESE colors…and so..I lined them up…..

CONGRATULATIONS TO ROCHELLE!!! Rochelle was selected by RANDOM.org and won Giveaway #5, and will be able to choose between a pet portrait, a cow painting or a barn painting.

I was overwhelmed with the response to the last GIVEAWAY post. Truly. I cannot find the adequate words to express my gratitude for the time each of you took, not only to enter, but for your words of reassurance and support. They meant and MEAN the world to me. I wish that I could paint a portrait for each and every one of you..I really do, and I hope that any of you that still would like a portrait of your pet…give me the honor one day of painting a pet portrait for you.

  1. What a beautiful painting. I think I would call it “Gratitude” I’m a messy painter and my lids are a mess as well. Love your cute jam jar idea! Take care, Michelle
