10. TITANIUM

YES, I know,  these colors, in this configuration, look almost identical.

In real life they are each unique, with subtle and non intrusive undertones …These 10 colors are my favorite Beigey Gray type “Neutrals”. Do not be fooled, some have the word “white” in their name BUT they are NOT whites.  Not to be confused with the GREYED down whites either – these are TRUE NEUTRALS. They serve as an excellent backdrop to the bright happy colors we all love so much right now….and are anything but boring!

They are all Benjamin Moore Colors. I have used 7 of these colors in my current home. Ashwood – Dining Room, Feather Down – Entryway, Creamy White/ Spring in Aspen – Living Room, Maritime White – Upstairs hall, Edgecomb Gray – the Sleeping Porch AND Titanium – Dining Room table.

BENJAMIN MOORE “FEATHER DOWN” AND YOUNG MISS CLARA WHEN WAS HERE FOR THE YOUNG HOUSE LOVE HOUSE CRASH…

These colors are the absolute perfect backdrop to the colors I use in my fabrics, art, lamps and accessories.  They are like a VERY GOOD FRIEND who HIGHLIGHTS your best traits…provides the necessary balance and lightness while letting you shine. All I know is that after what felt like a  lifetime of changing colors every 8-12 months…I brought these colors into my home 5 years ago and I have NOT felt compelled to change my wall colors…nope, not yet.

They are not for everyone…but they work great for me!

FOR THE LOVE OF A HOUSE – ASHWOOD . Her Living room is painted Ashwood (above) and the dining room is painted another amazing neutral….Benjamin Moore Halo – OC-46.  I HIGHLY urge you to visit this blog, if you are a fan of beautiful homes and neutrals. She has done neutrals throughout her beautiful antique farmhouse…in combination with natural organic elements…stone, wood, glass and metals..and the marriage is beyond perfect…She has given me untold inspiration.
CREAMY WHITE AKA SPRING IN ASPEN
2. CREAMY WHITE AKA SPRING IN ASPEN

SPRING IN ASPEN AKA “CREAMY WHITE” is one of my favorite Neutrals. It has a ..well “creaminess” to it! It goes more toward Gold that Grey..but is no way a yellow. Great is large spaces, warms them up.

  1. Yes – I painted my family room and kitchen in Titanium and LOVE it. Blue grey undertones and looks fresh and clean with everything.
