THE TV "GALLERY" WALL

The TV and the space it occupies is a bit of a challenge for me…
I have seen many creative solutions…
Many involve HIDING the TV..behind paintings, tapestries, doors…
even BARN doors!

Unfortunately
while I think this is an awesome solution…anything that involves hanging the TV ON the wall
will not work in our house…the walls are too old and crumbly…
The option which will work for us is

  1. One here for the pink lamps. Will say my hubby would vote for the blue cause he’d say they wouldn’t distract from the image on the tv. Either way is lovely, how wonderful that you have a backup pair you can swap on a whim. Love your paintings surrounding the tv in the kids room. So we watched the first episode of Homeland last night that we DVR’ed … gonna be another great season. And I also love Dexter but haven’t watched that first one yet. Another fav is a show that usually starts in January, Being Human. Robin @ happilyhomeafter.blogspot.com

  2. Blue lamps! I found your blog via Young House Love and adore your house. My husband and I started watching the first season of Homeland over the weekend and will watch the last episode tonight. It is AWESOME!

  3. Another vote for blue. My old house is like yours with crumbly walls precluding mounting. The gallery idea is visually nice when the tube can’t be easily hidden, especially when your lovely paintings surround. Watching: Once Upon A Time, Clodagh’s Irish Food Trails, and House M.D. and Lost re-runs.
Happy Birthday to your man, hope he liked your surprises. 🙂

  4. i love how you incorporated the tv among your wonderful paintings and artwork,it just looks so amazingly well put together, you’ve done an excellent job.i would definitely go for the pink lamps,i think they provide a pleasing softness to the eye.as for the tv programs, i live in greece so i am only familiar with
.happy birthday to your husband and give a kiss to that wonderful dog of yours charlie.i read a few days ago how he rescued you in the middle of the night when the ceiling over your bed fell off.amazing!
