FINALLY…we have a door on our bathroom! FINALLY!
AND I LOVE IT!
Installation was easy…well I say that, I actually did not install the door myself …mainly because of the weight of the door and the boot on my foot, but my carpenter assured me that the installation was step-by step EASY. And the results speak for themselves.
THE HARDWARE IS FROM REAL SLIDING DOOR
WHEN ORDERING YOUR TRACK YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW:
LENGTH OF TRACK –
Single Door: Multiply your single barn door width by two for optimum track length. For a 3ft barn door, you would typically need a 6ft barn door hardware rail kit.
Double Doors: For bi-parting barn doors, simply use two single barn door kits (see above) and mount them side by side.
(Track lengths are nominal to accommodate the overlap needed for the bottom guide).
*NUMBER OR DOORS USING THE TRACK
*FINISH – OIL RUBBED BRONZE, BLACK OR RAW STEEL.
*WHEEL TYPE – STEEL WHEELS OR BLACK POLYMER HUSH WHEELS,
*DOOR THICKNESS
AND * WHAT TYPE OF BOTTOM GUIDE – T GUIDE, C GUIDE OR STAY ROLLER GUIDE
WE SWAPPED OUT THE CHANDELIER WITH A BRONZE ONE THAT WAS IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM…
THE TOWEL BAR IS FROM POTTERY BARN...IN THE SAME STYLE AS THE EXISTING SUSSEX POLISHED CHROME HARDWARE…BUT IN OIL RUBBED BRONZE…I LIKE MIXING UP THE METALS!
THE “AUBREY” DOOR HANDLES ARE FROM RESTORATION HARDWARE. I WANTED SOMETHING LIGHT AND CLASSIC.
I AM ACTUALLY CONTEMPLATING THIS LIGHT FIXTURE FOR OVER THE SINK…
I DON’T KNOW WHY IT TOOK US ALMOST 2 YEARS TO PUT THE DOOR ON THE BATHROOM…BUT IT WAS WORTH EVERY SECOND OF THE WAIT. THE DOOR AND HARDWARE ARE PERFECT…THE ROOMS FEEL COMPLETE…ALTHOUGH….YOU MUST KNOW BY NOW…I AM NEVER FINISHED!!!!!
