TODAY is the very last day.
OF all of it!
SCHOOL THAT IS.
NO MORE LUNCHES AND SEPTEMBER TO JUNE.
ALL the school shopping and teachers and lunches and conferences and middle school and friends and playdates and life and death drama and girlfriends and boyfriends and janitors and field trips and Waldorf and Public School and Moms and coffee – just so much coffee – and recess and try-outs and Homecoming and studyhall and just all of it ….the background of my life is now changing – my time will be different and in many ways – I will be able to focus on ME – but I would be lying to say that I wont feel a little unmoored – and a bit lost – probably for a moment while I reorient to the new Normal which I think will include less TIME but MORE QUALITY time and a different kind of busy.
and COOPER NOW STARTS – The REST of his LIFE!!!!

Wow. This is such a unique time in both your lives. It took me a while to figure out what my new role was but once I did I loved it. However I still miss car pools and listening to all the chatter and I miss all the sports but look forward to enjoying those again with grand babies. Enjoy your time and congrats to the grad. Such an exciting time!
