I continue to paint all the wonderful Dogs you have sent to me – and I post One a day on Instagram but I wanted to share this sweet guy with you today…because he just has stolen a piece of my heart…

meet BUDDY THE GOLDENDOODLE

I don’t know, something about Buddy just taking in the snow just made my heart ache a bit.

 Buddy passed away of Lymphoma this winter.

His owner’s girlfriend commissioned a portrait of him…and I had the honor of capturing his sweet self on canvas, to hopefully ease the loss and bring a teensy part of buddy back to his Dad.

I have extended my offer to paint 10″ x 10″ canvases for Mother’s Day and I will keep the offer up on leslidevito.com until April 15. I am not advertising this but YOU now know so spread the word to anyone who might want a portrait of their loved one.
