DAY 7 …WOW A WEEK HAS PASSED!!!

MEET “WINSTON”

The Springer Spaniel

I knew the SECOND I saw the photo of Winston that I HAD to paint him. For ONE, I have a total soft spot for Springer Spaniels. We had one when I was a teenager named “Millie”..and honest to God she was the sweetest dog I have ever owned in my life…and perhaps the softest too.

HERE ARE 5 FACTS ABOUT SPRINGER SPANIELS:

  1. The Breed originates in England – another dog that barks with an English accent!
  2. Known to be INCREDIBLY AFFECTIONATE
  3. GREAT with other dogs.Kids and Strangers -maybe not such good guard dogs 🙂
  4. They get to be about 50 lbs.
  5. Like the tee shirts at J Crew – the Spring Spaniel comes in MANY COLORS :  Black & White, Black White & Tan, Liver & White, Liver White & Tan White & Black White & Liver

  2. We have a liver and white Springer named Buoy. He is our second. They are the best family dogs and are so loyal. Buoy is a fifty pound lap dog. Winston is precious!
