I am over the moon in love with these colors!!!!
IT IS ALMOST AS IF ALL OF MY FAVORITE COLORS HAVE BEEN “INSTAGRAMMED” …. RESULTING IN COLORS THAT ARE MORE MUTED…WARMER – SEXIER AND MORE MATURE.

THESE COLORS are warm and cool and cozy evoke walks along the rocky beach, in big chunky sweaters….

…these colors work so well with natural woods, painted woods, earthy and hearty woods….

THE addition of Brass just makes perfect sense and carries the muted BLUSH pink to dizzying heights!

…and add touch of black…well you tell me……

….. these colors, are social, they need each other…alone they are either not enough…or too much…but together they balance and enhance one another’s finest traits….

A) Beluga (Behr) B) Mt. Rushmore Rock (Benjamin Moore) C)Edgecomb Gray (Benjamin Moore)D) Crisp Straw (Benjamin Moore) E) Sunset Beige (Behr)

..the last thing I want to do is wish time away…but I do so LOVE AUTUMN and I have so very many fun projects planned…little this….little that….stick around and we are going to have some fun!

….I am looking around my house….no one is safe….and the dressers are pretending they are looking in the other direction…and cannot see me sizing them up…deciding if it is indeed time for them to get a makeover…I think I will start with the bookcase in the kids living room…not the one with the pink inside, but the kids old Pottery Barn Kids one….which you have not seen much of in its current BLAH state…
Have a wonderful weekend…believe it or not, we are off again this weekend, this time for our annual New England Trek, Cooper is doing Boston Bruins Hockey camp and if you think he is over the moon counting down the days like Christmas is coming…well then you are absolutely RIGHT ON!!!
Hi Leslie,
I JUST finished making two cornices using your instructions. They are so pretty! I used 3″ L brackets to attach them to the windows. I’m not using curtains just mini blinds. I painted the bedroom a color similar to the Palladian Blue you are showing today. The cornices are covered with a paisley linen in blue/grey, gold, brown, and cream.
Thanks so much!
Terry
WONDERFUL…SEND ME A PICTURE! Great job and thanks for stopping by!
“These colors are warm and cool and cozy evoke walks along the rocky beach, in big chunky sweaters” <– Man I love that! And it's true!
Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum
it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your
blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing.
Do you have any tips and hints for beginner blog writers?
I’d really appreciate it.
Hi, I want to subscribe for this weblog to get most recent updates, thus where can i do it please help out.
