IT IS THAT TIME AGAIN….

time of outfit the dorm room in mind…which in a very short time with be the dorm room in my life!

I paid a visit to a great site...MODANI.COM and played make believe….and here is what I came up with….

 

I was at my favorite fabric store the other day and I asked her what she is people are buying…she said tow things…NEON and METALLICS!!! and what is wonderful about these things is that a LITTLE goes a long way!!!!!

 

AND AS ALWAYS DO NOT FORGET THE WALLS!!!!!

LIKE I ALWAYS TELL MY KIDS – ” you only get to be young once.”..COLLEGE OR YOUR FIRST APARTMENT is the time to do YOUR thing without the responsibilities of life…siblings, partners… to make the compromises you will ultimately have to make…and which make LIFE happen…YES you will need to respect your roommates needs but your DORM room is the first chance to play around…OBVIOUSLY ….usually the furniture choices are more UTILITARIAN in their structure…boxy and flat out boring but I think if you have a vision of your DREAM ROOM….while you may only be able to ultimately incorporate a silver pouf or a metallic pillow or a neon lamp…these things will make YOU feel at home in your new surroundings…ground you and give you a sense of yourself…you NEW COLLEGE SELF!
