CONGRATULATIONS COOPER!!!!
LOST IN THE SHUFFLE
….of the tests and the parties and soccer games and company and cousins…. the wrapping up of simultaneously the longest AND shortest SCHOOL years in our school going history …
……was COOPER’S Graduation from Middle school!!!!
In addition to marking an exciting milestone…. this transition signifies our FAMILY’S farewell to Middle School. Behind us is THE SPAN OF TIME which represents the transformation of child to teen – and boobs, shaving, pimples, periods, hormonal roller cOaster rides, dances and first kisses and first heart breaks….it all happens during the time formerly known and “Junior High” –
ADIOS Middle School!
What a time we have had.
I will NEVER EVER claim to be an expert on Middle School. And I am grateful that for the most part we have remained intact…but it was not always easy. Middle School hurts. Growing up hurts. And on top of all that – We lost some of our favorite people while Cooper was in Middle school – Both Grandfather’s and Aunt Maura…it was rough sailing there…on top of life’s usually potpourri of treats…broken bones and noses.
The Middle School years are a TRULY Amazing time…Cooper grew 6 whole inches last year alone.

MIDDLE SCHOOL – This is how he looked going in….
and this is how he looked going out….
My Baby…will always be my baby….AGE 1-AGE 5-AGE 15 …no matter what age….he is my baby boy.
CONGRATULATIONS COOPER – HIGH SCHOOL WAITS FOR YOU!
Phoebe is a sweet petite peanut compared to those big boys. I see the most resemblance between Phoebe and Cooper.
Today is my daughter’s grade 9 farewell. Onto high school in September. Middle School, especially grade 9, has been tough for her. Although I am nervous about the big transition, I am hoping it will be a good one. Even though I would love to be young again, never again would I want to be in middle school!!
Congrats to your daughter!
