From where I sit…
Today is the FIRST Monday of SUMMER VACATION, NO school.
…and….This is my view…
…the VIEW from the sofa…
NO SOCCER. No graduations, or parties or dances…
or shopping to do for someone or something…
and
I keep thinking…did I forget something?
Are we done? It is over?
Yep, it is and we are.
Like the icing on the cake…
It is a RAINY day:
…the lazy-day-permission-slip-hall-pass…
can’t
“go out and enjoy the gorgeous day!”
when it is rainy!
…the kids and I are being lazy bums
AND as if on cue…
the new cozy blankets I splurged on just arrived!
and OMG
I cannot believe I forgot to tell you THIS!
Guess what I got last week?
A brand new replacement slipcover from Pottery Barn!
…they came through…and replaced the ruined one!
They ROCK!
anyway…
I Just finished watching “Love Story” with Phoebe and
I have spent two full hours…
TWO
on HERE on my Pinterest…
…with the single minded goal to get myself over
2000 pins…and…
I might add….
I succeeded!!!
I LOVE SUMMER!!!
swimming will happen
traveling will happen
busy-ness will happen
even soccer will happen
tomorrow is busy and
….this moment of lazy bliss will not last forever…
But today…it is the name of the game.
we earned it.
we need it.
It is being handed to us on a silver platter…
and we are taking it!

Awwww, first day of the kid’s summer break… there’s nothing like it!! =D I remember those days. Yea on the new slipcovers!! =D
I keep saying out loud…. Please don’t go too fast… But of course… It will. I am excited about the conferences… They will be new and different and wool slow time down a smidge
It has been awfully nice to not have to go to school today. I was there large chunks of every day the last few weeks…..
