HAPPY HOLIDAYS – I AM BACK!!!

I have SOOOOO  been in the weeds.

At last count I painted 35 Custom Pet Portraits for this Holiday Season.I LOVED IT…BUT It was all-consuming and little else got done…all good..they have all been shipped and with the exception of one PORTRAIT that was LOST IN THE MAIL…all is well.

THIS PAINTING WAS LOST ON ITS WAY TO ITS OWNER! THE CLIENT SO VERY SWEET AND WE ARE BOTH SICK ABOUT IT...BUT MAYBE SOMEHOW IT WILL SHOW UP IN THE DEAD LETTER OFFICE IN ATLANTA!

Yes, one got lost! I taped two boxes together and someone at the post office separated the two boxes leaving one box with NO ADDRESS ON IT! why why why!!!!

ANYWAY…I DO BELIEVE THAT LILY WILL BE FOUND AND NOW I AM CATCHING UP WITH CHRISTMAS!!! Funny, we got the tree and the house decorated earlier than ever this year…yet I still feel so behind…It just does not feel like Christmas…OUR weather is so warm for this time of year…but in fact I am really pretty caught up…so it does LOOK like Christmas!

Anyway…I wanted to share the Living room decorations with you. I have been so swamped I never showed you the New Paint color…I painted the living room Sherwinn Williams “Steamed Milk”(SAME AS THE UPSTAIRS AND DOWNSTAIRS HALL) …and I brought the curtains from the OTHER living room in here…

I don’t even think I showed your The table and chairs we got for our anniversary (21 years!)!!!

HANDS DOWN….MY FAVORITE DECORATIONS ARE OUR CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS.

MY MOM DID AMAZING NEEDLEPOINT AND SHE DID A STOCKING FOR TATE WHEN HE WAS A BABY AND THEN FOR PHOEBE AND COOPER  WHEN I WAS PREGNANT…SHE DID MINE A FEW YEARS LATER…BUT, SADLY SHE WAS UNABLE TO FINISH DAMON’S… BUT HE GETS THE VERY SPECIAL “TIGGER” STOCKING WHICH WAS THE FIRST STOCKING WE BOUGHT WHEN TATE WAS BORN…..

THE STOCKINGS HAND UP THE STAIRCASE UNTIL CHRISTMAS EVE. I PUT THE MESSAGE BOARDS OUT EVERY CHRISTMAS AND FILL THEM WITH CHRISTMAS CARDS!!!

  2. I really like your yard stick tree and the photo stocking holders. Really fun editions. Good luck with the lost mail. My husband bought me a vintage map several years ago, the tube must have rolled off the shipping line somewhere. It was missing for about 4 weeks, but it turned up & was in great shape.

  3. Your house is just the ultimate in personality, uniqueness, color, warmth…I could go on. Love, love, love it.
