my friend Erin(House of Turquoise) and her husband Chris
welcomed to the world, a son, their first child,
Always a little better late than never, on August 26, 2013, I hosted a
for Erin and Chris and Wesley VIA my blog. The “GIFTS” were left in the comment section, via words of love and support, Motherly tid-bits and advice lovingly composed and written to the new little family. My PLAN was to gather all the comments into some tangible format for Erin and Chris. Someday.
O-N-E—Y-E-A-R—L-A-T-E-R
Fast forward to December 2014, yes, one month AGO, I lay sofa bound after my foot surgery. What better time to tackle a LONG overdue project!!! So, I collected monthly photos of Wesley, Newborn to Nursery to his recently re-decorated Big Boy room/Loft.
I went onto Shutterfly, downloaded the photos and made a photo book with the TEXT being all the comments left by Virtual Shower guests.
Presenting
“WELCOME WESLEY!”
(it may take a few seconds to download)

I LOVE surprises. Nothing gives me more pleasure than a sending a gift to someone completely out for the blue. And such was the case of Wesley’s book…Erin and Chris had just been reliving the day Wesley was born and his first few months and the mail came and BAM!!!
SURPRISE!!!!!
……” What was even neater is that Wesley was so interested in the book, he recognized his books, the whales, things in his room, and kept wanting to see what was next. It was so fun reading it too him, and I know he’ll appreciate it even more as he grows!”
Hosting a VIRTUAL BABY SHOWER was so easy and fun… Think of all the possibilities ! I mean who does not need a little Pick-me-up now and then. Words of comfort and support.
A HEARTFELT Thank you to everyone who contributed! Making this book was a true labor of love, such a personal gift which could not have been possible if not for YOUR generous words GIVEN to Chris and Erin. THIS Gift is one that will keep on giving as Wesley grows. And growing he is!
Thank you! Cheers Wesley!
