YESTERDAY MY SWEET ONLY DAUGHTER CELEBRATED HER 17TH BIRTHDAY

I won’t get all mushy on you…lets save that for ALL of next year when I prepare for her to leave home for College…but suffice to say…she has grown up much too fast…

PHOEBE HAS A CAT NAMED GUS.

Gus came into our lives, Phoebe’s life after our family had suffered a great loss. He has brought such comfort and joy into Phoebe’s  life and I believe he has helped her heart to heal. Gus spends 99% of his time in her room, coming out as if on a recognizance mission when he needs to tend to his bathroom needs of grab a bit of chow. He is a FRAIDY cat for sure…but he melts in Phoebe’s arms and adores her unconditionally.

I DECIDED THAT  the perfect birthday gift for me to give my sweet sweet girl was

to paint a portrait of GUS  !!!

THE PORTRAIT OF GUS is the perfect addition to Phoebe’s new room just as he was the perfect addition to our family!
