We have been traveling and hosting for the past few weeks and very little bed-making much less making-over has been taking place.

BUT I HAVE HAD some internet tIme to see what YOUR MAKEOVERS and I am constantly impressed and inspired and yes, sometimes …..intrigued. Here are some favorites…

I love this next one, a “sultry” bedroom makeover from lilikoijoy.com. The balance of light and dark is just enough…everything works …and I have to say, the longer I live the more I am convinced that simple is best when it comes to bedding, you can always accent with the pops of color and pattern, but look how inviting this room is!

I am crazy for this book headboard..so inventive so “ANTHROPOLOGIE”  and so easy to replicate! Who does not have some books lying around!

YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THE “BEFORE” WHEN YO SEE THIS ONE!!!!AMAZING! I saw this kitchen transformation a while back, it has bounced around and been featured on a number of blogs…you will know why as soon as you see it. The pasrt that inpresses me the most is that the ORIGINAL FOOTPRINT has remained essentially the same. This is a TRUE MAKEOVER in my book…where color, texture, lighting, styling and creativity abound!

 

Simple again, colors and textures, Pops…no pups though…a little goes a long way and this room will look fine and uncluttered with the addition of magazines, and books blankets and people!

I LOVE this teen room. Graphically interesting lots of contrast and character and personality I feel like I already know so much about its inhabitant! Great room!

I stumbled upon this pin on Pinterest and then just kept digging through the archives of her creativity…have fun!

WELL..there you have a sampling of the wonderfully inspiring work going on out there…so much talent and imagination and creativity….ahhh what I wouldn’t give to be able to hang with you guys in person!
