2013 was a VERY VERY BIG and FULL year.
I can honestly say that I have not had a year in my whole life…of such HIGHS and such LOWS…experiences at each end of the spectrum….ever in my life. The HIGHS were amazing, life affirming and goals realized and ATTAINED of my work was recognized in such validating ways…

and then My Children…my finest work… growing and happy and blossoming before my eyes…

…..and then…my sister in law Maura died…and our family was hit head-on with grief . We pulled together to honor her, mourn the loss of her and begin the process of moving forward, inch by inch…without her…as impossible as that seemed… seems…we made it through Christmas and now I am taking stock of my year.
I took on HUGE challenges this year in our home, making over ALL three bathrooms and finishing the kitchen makeover. Our home was featured in a National Magazine (FAMILY CIRCLE) and (ROMANTIC HOME) as well as multiple LOCAL Publications.

I completed over 75 Custom Pet portraits in 2013 and my artwork is now featured and sold on an online ART website – UGALLERY.
In 2013, my transformations were on the larger scale and little projects fell by the wayside. 2014 will be more THE YEAR of the little tweeks..and oh boy do I have a TON in my TO DO list which I will share later this week.
Lets take a look at 2013…and my

…WOW..Like I said..it was a VERY BIG YEAR…
….tomorrow I will look forward and explore what lies ahead in 2014…already some exciting things are underway…and who knows what surprises lie ahead….
Lesli,
What colors did you use for your front porch wall, trim, and ceiling?? I painted my front door a very similar color and now the rest of the house needs to be repainted this spring.
Hi Andrea, The front porch walls are the original unpainted stucco of the house, so I don’t have a color for them, but I WILL try to do a color-match for you..and me..for fun..the trim is “Linen white” and the ceiling is “Birds Egg” – both Benjamin Moore. Happy New Year!
