IT ALL STARTED YESTERDAY…

I was poking around on PINTEREST...

…a place which, LIKE MY FINGERNAILS,  has been neglected by me, …and I decided to play “Catch Up”.

 

Lets back it up a bit, I don’t advertise this much, but I am a touch competitive…quietly competitive…like I might see something that I want to DO..or BE..or ACCOMPLISH..and I will make a little deal with myself…”JUST DO IT “!!!

……this competitive nature, well,  it can apply to anything…big or little, important..or stupid…it is all a competition to me…as a kid “be the first to finish dinner..” and as an adult…”so you want to paint the Living room…JUST DO IT!” or..” Vacuum the house, do the laundry and empty the dishwasher THEN You can check your email!!!”

It really is quite fun. and productive.  Passes the time, and certainly can make even the MOST mundane tasks more interesting.

BACK TO PINTEREST. I happen to love the way RED-WHITE-and BLUE look together. NOT in a corny obnoxious obvious way…but very subtle..and maybe with a touch of gold in there.

so, I started a new board

…and if its Red, White and Blue!..

THEN I MADE A DEAL WITH MYSELF…”PIN 100 PINS TO THIS BOARD”

and so I did….and then some…

Then I decided that I wanted to give my PINTEREST PAGE more attention,

and hey, lets PIN enough PINS to make me have 4000 pins

I started pinning away…going board to board…pin to pin…and I got to 4000!

I started a few new boards...sugar and spice

and snips and snails

California here we come…(to get ideas for our upcoming trip to California!)

and…I added photo upon photo to countless boards…

It was fun, and relaxing and like a treasure hunt…I do so love Pinterest…now my goal is 5000 pins!!! Lets see how I do this weekend!
