……and that I could come to each of your towns and stand someplace very visible and THANK YOU APPROPRIATELY for your prayers and kind KIND words of support. I honestly was blown away by your compassion and I cannot put into words how it got me through yesterday.
My sweet Charlie is coming home today! He had a dislocated hip and a broken shoulder. He had surgery yesterday to repair his dislocated hip (a FHO procedure which I now know a lot about) and we elected to not put him through two surgeries and so his broken shoulder will heal with rest and pain medicine. I bought him a nice new big egg crate bed and a HUGE new crate (seriously a Great Dane could fit) and I plan to baby him as long as he needs me to. I also got this amazing “GINGERLEAD sling harness which I will show you when it gets here..that will help ME HELP HIM walk by supporting his body weight.
So thank you for the prayers, truly from the bottom of my heart for the kind words and the photos and the LOVE..

oh my goodness!!! Poor Charlie and poor you!!! Im so glad to hear that he is doing better. I am sure he will be enjoy being spoiled as he recovers. And when he does, you need a nice relaxing vacation!!! xoxoxo

Wonderful news – so happy for Charlie and his family!!! We went through something similar with our Bichon back in 2006 and while it will all look awful and you wonder if everything will ever be ok again, time and your help will work wonders! A towel worked well for us (in lieu of a sling) and I’ll hope the crate works better for you! Will keep him in our prayers.
Praise be! So happy to hear Charlie will soon be back home. I will keep you both in my prayers for full n fast healing. Our dear pony is also recovering from major surgery at the vet hospital and should be home shortly! Now to deal with the bill! 😉 Oh well, our critters ARE priceless! <3
