SOMETIMES
IT TAKES MONTHS OF PLANNING, research, shopping and strategizing to make a room transformation.
and SOMETIMES – one relatively small change can make a
HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!
Such is the case with my NEW/USED Studio Table.
I saw THE PERFECT table months ago at the Greenwood Country store but the price was just too high for me. Still, it stayed on my mind because it was PERFECT – the right height (33″, the right length (74″) and made of a beautiful butcher block with gorgeous legs . They are a deep teal with bits of lighter teal which pop through. (I met the woman whose booth the table was in the day I bought it and she told me it has been custom-made for a kitchen in Texas!)
THEN……
LAST WEEK I STOPPED BY THE STORE AND GUESS WHAT ????-
THE TABLE WAS ALMOST 50% OFF!!!
NOW WE’RE TALKIN!!!
SO WE BOUGHT IT. AND AFTER TRYING TWO DIFFERENT DOORS, WE GOT IT OUT OF THE STORE AND INTO THE BACK OF MY MINIVAN AND FINALLY
INTO THE HOUSE AND VOILA!!!
I CAN’T EXPLAIN HOW MUCH MORE INVITING THE ROOM IS NOW.
Its like instead of feeling all “dining room-ish”, it feels coffee-shop relaxing.
I SIMPLY BOUGHT ANOTHER PAIR OF OUR KITCHEN STOOLS (TARGET)
THERE IS ONE MORE ITEM I NEED AND THE ROOM WILL BE AS FUNCTIONAL AS IT IS BEAUTIFUL.
SOMETHING LIKE THIS COULD BE GOOD.
IT is so fun to get something new and make a positive change isn’t it?? I am just so happy!!!
HERE ARE THE FIRST TWO PAINTINGS I DID ON MY NEW TABLE –
A COMMISSION FOR A COUNTRY CLUB WEDDING SPACE. THEY WERE SO MUCH FUN!!!
Wow! I love the table, so relaxing looking and a true multitasker. I hope you can find the cabinet you pictured because it’s perfect color wise and style. I would love that piece myself.
Love it!! It’s so beautiful- and your paintings
