I like these pinks paired with bright whites and deep grays…even high gloss black!
They LEND A feminine but not GIRLIE spin to things…They are GREAT FURNITURE colors!!!!Blush can even act like a Neutral in the right combinations.
I JUST ORDERED these chairs from TARGET of all places!!!! I am beside myself with excitement!!!! With the house on the market it would not be a wise move to get MORE stuff …but these were such an incredible deal and I knew they were worth it. They will be perfect for Phoebe’s first apartment someday if they do not fit in whatever house we move to IF we ever move…and to tell you the truth…I am quite happy right where I am.
I wanted some hip modern-ISH chairs to A. Sit On and B. use to style when I photograph my ARTWORK. I use so much PINK in my paintings that I think these will compliment and flatter the ART.
THERE ARE SO MANY CHAIR OPTIONS AND COLORS TO CHOOSE FROM!!!!
I LOVE BLUSH paired with black and wood tones, gold and more natural textiles. This helps cut the “sweet” factor, lending BLUSH more Neutral .
SPEAKING OF PUPPY PAWS – CHECK OUT THIS PILLOW FROM ANTHROPOLOGIE!
IF I SAID IT ONCE I’LL SAY IT A MILLION TIMES…..
PINK is absolutely NOT a color to be afraid of…especially BLUSH pinks…SOMETHING A SIMPLE AS even a BLUSH pillow can transform a room….and add whimsy and softness…pair with natural products…WOOD, MARBLE, STONE and deep navy, gray and browns…the possibilities are endless and the rewards GREAT!
When it comes to blush..are you in…or out?
xo
Love BLUSH! ❤️
I am a huge fan of blush! Love those Nate Berkus tufted arm chairs. I think I need to take a look around our house and see if we can sneak one of those chairs somewhere. Your Evie painting is fabulous Lesli! I’ll pop over to UGallery. Hoping it’s still available. Have a good day!
got my chairs!!!
I am totally IN! And I love Maria Killam too! She is awesome!
she is a genius in my book!! Thanks
Cream Puff by Benjamin Moore is so good. Just perfect!
love cream puff!!!
Love it, and thanks for this post, it really got my decorating juices flowing. For her first college apt room, just bought my daughter a creamy white quilt with blush sheets and touches of blush tassels on a throw. Hoping it will pretty up the ugly brown furniture that comes furnished with the apt.! And i agree on copper, have always loved it. Saved all the copper decorative “molds” from the 70s that my MIL was getting rid of.
we did a lot of blush with Phoebe’s room last year and it was great!I am doing a DORM shopping post very soon so stay tuned!!! xo
