MY NEWEST DOMINO ARTICLE HAS BEEN PUBLISHED!
(seriously I have to pinch myself each time I write this!)
and..on another topic…
.I HAVE A CONFESSION….I miss my Pink Living room…
I mean, I really really miss it, so much so that I have moved the unopened flu gallon of PINK CLOUD that I bought before I decided to change to color to a “neutral” , out from it’s place of storage in the pantry and into the living room…to stare at me and ask “Well, now that you are not selling the house…at least not right now, can I come back?”
and I AM THINKING ABOUT going back to the pink..am I crazy???
I think that my next DOMINO article will be about using PINK in your decorating…Here are some of my favorite recent PINK finds on PINTEREST…..and right here in My Old Country House!
1. PAINT
2.WALLPAPER
3.LIGHTING
4. ARTWORK
5.UPHOLSTERY
6. PILLOWS
7. RUGS
8. WINDOWS
9. ACCESSORIES
I have said it before and I will say it again…PINK is always a great decorating choice…in BIG WAYS…like walls and wallpaper or little ways…like accessories, lamps, flowers and pops of pink. Like rosy cheeks and the blossom or Spring …PINK brings LIFE into a room and your home.
You’re not moving?
Tracy…NO we are not moving..at least not right now…I will write more about it on the blog…but we are happy to stay put right now!!! Thanks for stopping by!
Lesli, I’m not sure what’s come over me but I’m loving shades of pink right now ~ predominantly fuchsia! I’ve always been a lover of red…still am…but for the last 3 years, this pink thing comes up in the spring. I’m going for it too! 🙂 I don’t know if I mentioned it to you or someone else but I had a duplex many years ago. Painted the entire space a pale, peachy pink ~ much like your color but a bit of a peach tone ~ and white trim. Really, it was beautiful and any color went with it. Bottom line, Yes! paint the pink again. 🙂
I’ve always loved your book case with the pink interior and all of the photos shared here are beautiful!
