BUYING BEDDING FOR BOYS – My Old Country House

Hosting the VIRTUAL BABY SHOWER for Erin of House of Turquoise,

got me thinking about my Baby Boys…. who, as you know… are not babies anymore …wondering if it is time to update their bedroom…knowing that they will probably fight me because they love it, and in fact, it really is fine.

Decorating Boys rooms is easy and hard at the same time. EASY because once it is done, they will love it…FOREVER…and I do mean forever…as I have found boys, at least mine, do not like change in the ROOM department…and I guess that is also what is HARD…

WALLS– I found it best to stick to a neutral color for the walls, with perhaps one fun accent wall, and then accessorize with the crazy brights that they move in and out of LOVE WITH…

I LOVE the nautical bedding! Those whales and the pirate pillow! The navy/orange combo is just always good, isn’t it? Maybe I need to think of that for my living room. I have such a thing for navy right now…
