I am fortunate to have made some incredible friendships through my ART work…it is a connection like none other I have experienced…souls touching souls and I would not trade it for anything.

I cherish those friendships.

One such relationships a young couple A & C, whom I met when I did my very first show in Charlottesville at the Mudhouse. They fell madly in love with a cow painting named

“BONNIE BLUE BELL”

..but they waited too long and the painting sold. They emailed me and asked if I had any more like the one they missed and I was just finishing up “HELEN”….

They fell equally in love with Helen and she went home with them. A & C  have commissioned  and purchased  a few other pieces from me along the way and in addition they have grown from a family of 2 to 4, with the arrival of a little boy a few years ago and last year, a daughter. “A” wanted to honor his wife with a SPECIAL Christmas present this year and he  asked me to chooses from one of a few of her favorite photos to paint…the result was one of the most special paintings I have even done…
