EVER SINCE I HAD THE UPSTAIRS AND DOWNSTAIRS HALLS PAINTED…

I have not been able to bring myself to put anything BACK on the walls. They look fine bare..little minimalistic, and I have been actively keeping my eyes open for inspiration. I have been collection photos on Pinterest…but until recently NOTHING was really inspiring me enough to make a move…FINALLY I SAW THIS PHOTO..

and I got an idea…I knew I wanted photos…but I wanted NON – the TYPICAL posed photos…maybe even the “outtakes”! I had the posed portraits there before. I LOVED those, but was just ready for a change. I went back through my old Shutterfly account and found 6 great photos and I am having this enlarged to 11′ X 14″ . Here is more along the lines of what I was looking for!

I THEN FOUND THESE GREAT FRAMES AT TARGET.COM

- spend $125 save 15% on select home items
- save an extra 10% on select home items with code SAVEONHOME
SO I AM OFF TO CREATE MY NEW IMPROVED STAIRCASE!
In the meantime…enjoy some of my favorite Staircase photos…perhaps a little “PIN-spiration!”

LOTS OF IDEAS AND INSPIRATION…HERE IS WHAT IT THINK – THE STAIRCASE IS REALLY AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE YOUR HOME YOU. I tend to shy away from articles that try to show me “How to create the Perfect Gallery wall!” I mean, A Gallery wall…is a Gallery….it is your stuff. This is definitely an area where you could ask 10 people and get 10 opinions on what to do…so just do what YOU like…if you want a million photos up there…go for it…or nothing or just 3 ..or paintings…or dirty handprints…it is your HOME so do what makes you happy every night when you climb those stairs and all the millions of times between …My ONLY suggestion is that when you hand your photos, hang them secure so they don’t get bumped off!!!!
SO I SHALL FORGE AHEAD AND SHOW YOU WHEN I GET DONE!
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
I am facing a similar dilemma. I have blank spaces around my tv and wall, but actually cannot decide what to do without spending a lot of money. I was fine taping my download able art prints, but my rental wall has texture and the tape just wouldn’t stick. So, now I need a new solution. Can’t wait to see how yours turn out.
The best way decorating stairs is to have frames all over. I don’t like strips on stairs, makes me dizzy.
They look so lovely. The pictures along the staircase. If I had a staircase at home, I would display tons of pcitures.
