I was looking back at the very first thanksgiving post – I wrote for this blog in 2011

my new dishwasher…

…life in general…

So much has changed and yet – everything I said in 2011 (except the new dishwasher part) is true today – 8 years later. I am blessed beyond measure. I have love around me in all directions and today I am surrounded by my 4 favorite people – two now home from college.

It is so very easy to be taken down by all the busy and sad and stress that is an everyday part of our lives – or at least mine – and when I STOP – take a breath and remember WHO I do it all for – WHY I do what I do and WHERE I am so fortunate to live – I can only be GRATEFUL and want to give back in any way I possibly can –

I am thankful for you !!!!
