Is it just me?
Or have you noticed…
all of a sudden…Blue Mason jars are everywhere!!!
This year Ball introduced a limited-edition, vintage-inspired jar, the Ball Heritage Collection Jar.
The jars are commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Ball brothers’ Perfect Mason Jar, a first-of-its-kind blending of jars, lids and bands.
The Ball Heritage Collection Pint Jars feature a pretty blue tint and embossed logos on the front and back. They are sold just about everywhere, and come individually or in packs of 6 for about $10.
There are a number of ETSY shops that sell “accessories” for the jars..
I stumbled upon these adorable DAISY CUT LIDS HERE AND this site carries a whole slew of party supplies like these ADORABLE STRAWS!!! Which by the way….are also EVERYWHERE!!!!
I bought a bunch of the galvanized lids with pumps HERE to make al of my soap containers more attractive! I have put them in the bathrooms……
and in the KITCHEN! Recently I filled a few of the jars with the abundance of Hydrangeas in bloom…the colors are beautiful together….
They are beautiful, I haven’t seen them over here in Australia. Ill have to try and find some 🙂
Hi Lesli,
I recently helped my youngest daughter move and while prepping for the move she discovered some old canning jars so when she offered them to me, I carried them home, not sure what I would be doing with them but brought back good memories of canning with my mom. Great turnaround of events, she will be getting married in October so we decided to use large mason jars for flowers on each table and a pint jar on each side for candles. We glued lace on outside of each pint jar and the candlelight makes lovely shadows on the table. Fun, inexpensive & lovely centerpieces.
Great ideas! In my bathroom, I’ve lined the window sills with vintage Mason jars and other glass bottles, jars, and other glass items, all in shades of blues and greens. The sun shines through and really sets them off.
