Remember THIS?

Exactly one year and one month ago today….

… the ceiling over our bed COLLAPSED AND FELL DOWN,

here is the story...

….. INCLUDING the part about how my Dog Charlie saved my life...…!!!

For a number of reasons, many completely out of our control…we had plywood covering the big giant hole for 9 months!!!

BUT FINALLY…….

Sometimes,

I get SO distratced by the BIG changes…you know, Bathrooms, Kitchens, Plumbing, …Roofs…and , the um, the  NEW CEILING in my bedroom,  that I forget all the little “TWEAKS”…which truthfully, on a daily basis anyhow, thrill me more.

Such is the case with my NEW DUVET COVER…!!!!

I love mixing patterns and colors, Surprising myself….

 I knew that a touch of pink would be just the perfect thing on our bedroom.

I am inspired by Designer Kathryn Ireland

…… and how she layers colors and pattern…

and I loved how the John Robeshaw Pinks looked against the Palladian blue walls at

Hollywood at Home

…and Now with my Master Bathroom painted Palladian Blue…I wanted to bring a little of that look into my “Greenwood at Home”…
