I have had this table for a few years now. I LOVE it!

THIS COFFEE TABLE is AFFORDABLE and DURABLE and handsome, versatile and classy…and has had a nice life in the Kids Living Room. After having seeing a number of “GOLD LEAF”coffee tables recently…I decided to give it a spruce up!

The wood separates from the base very easily with the removal of some screws ….and as luck would have it, the temperature was a balmy 50 degrees today, enabling me to set myself up to spray paint outside!

I SPRAY PAINTED THE BASE GOLD!

I CANNOT GET OVER THE TRANSFORMATION! THE KIDS LOVE IT AND THE WHOLE ROOM FEELS LIGHTER! (love the GOLD ps3 remote)

BEST PART: THE ENTIRE MAKEOVER TOOK LESS THAN ONE HOUR!

I truly believe that something wonderful happens INSIDE when you change something OUTSIDE. There is a power that comes from making something beautiful…EVEN if it was ALREADY BEAUTIFUL! So much around us, sits, and sits and sits and is never tended to…and I find, for myself anyway, that when I take a moment to spruce up, spiff up and polish up even one small area of my home…(or MYSELF  for that matter!) everything feels better and bigger things feel possible. This is why I suggest that when you are ready to make a change..start small and build upon that… you will NEVER make a mistake if you try…because it is in the DOING that we find the joy! The rest is just gravy!
