 “THE ENGLISH ROOM” blog  today…

THE ENGLISH ROOM IS  the creation of Holly Phillips, who is  an incredibly talented and busy interior designer whom I had the pleasure of meeting at the Design Blogger’s conference…in March.  WE bonded on a bus ride to the party at HD Buttercup over a conversation about our beloved dogs….

Holly was one of the winners of the Pet Portrait Giveaway and I painted her adorable rescue Pup

My photo albums of the kids when they were babies….

 another treasured possession is this bowl, a crystal rose bowl that I inherited from my Grandmother…I love it so much and it looks beautiful with these Peonies from my yard…
