(and speaking of House Beautiful – oh boy oh boy do I have news for you…

but being the superstitious person I am,

I have to wait until I know for sure

before I go blabbing!)

I felt a bit more in my element last year when it was

ALL ABOUT PINK!

yes, this was more “in my wheelhouse”.
I LOVE that phrase,
though I am not certain of what it means…what is the origin?

…anyway, so tomorrow is St Pattys day and Green is “IN”
and I have found myself drawn to GREEN,
touches of it.
But where do you begin when you just want to try a touch of a color?

The easiest way I have found to TRY a color is
accessories and my favorite is candles!

for “Lesli”!..do not ask me why we have one of the few ones in the US of A. Maybe even the only one! Actually I think I asked once and they happen to be from here, or own UVA or something.JK.
Its like, Paris, London…and Charlottesville!!! I love it!But anyway, it is a total color fest pretty thing treat to go there…and they have the absolute BEST candles. So many beautiful colors and not super crazy expensive, like $3 each or something
and they had this amazing green that I wanted to try…

I got some GREEN bowl filler things at TARGET.

The only problem is…Charlie (the dog)

thinks they are dog toys and brings them to me…

and very gently…

very delicately drops them at my feet.

I just wish I could train him to put them back!
