We are visiting the Grandparents in Upstate New York.
an annual tradition…
We have a killer Bocce Tournament in full swing,
and I have been enjoying Mimi’s meatballs and brownies
and have happily already had to pull out my stretchy pants.
oh well.
Tomorrow we go to Saratoga
for our annual day at the track.
I ADORE Saratoga Racetrack!!!

all of these things are little parts of our summer tradition,
Going to saratoga where we have been going since before we even were married.

What are yours?
My father in law owns a horse
and thus, we get to spend the day in the back stretch,
at the racetrack, with the trainers,
and riders and real horsey people.
Having watched many races from both sides,
I prefer the back stretch hands down.
I have a new strategy and intend to strike it rich tomorrow!
