HAPPY ADOPTION DAY BEAN!

EXACTLY TWO YEARS AGO WE SPIED A LITTLE BEAGLE PUPPY UNDER A PILE OF BIG WOOLY PUPPIES (BELIEVE IT OR NOT THEY WERE SIBLINGS) . I PICKED HIM UP…AND NEVER PUT HIM DOWN!!!

SINCE DAY 1 CHARLIE HAS TAKEN CARE OF BEAN…THEY ARE ALWAYS TOGETHER…SIDE BY SIDE.

Charlie, our Yellow Lab/Border collie mix  is 6 years old.

Fall 2010, WE WERE AT A SOCCER GAME OF MY DAUGHTER’S and a soccer Mom friend brought a box of puppies to the game. I think there were 6 puppies and i grabbed the yellow one. He was (and still is) the sweetest living thing (other than my babies) I had ever held. He melted into my arms and I turned to my husband and said “For our anniversary?”…I think his reply was something like “Oh, now that is not fair!”… but the puppy came home with us and we named him Charlie.

We got Muffin almost 12 years ago. She is a soft coated Wheaten Terrier. She is super sweet but not the sharpest pencil in the box. I will just leave it at that. We love her .
