The move has been in the works for a while…and finally
Last Night, while I slept…
IT HAPPENED!
I have a bit of learning to do…you know how it is...you move IN, you put the forks away
and then after LIVING in your home, you realize that the forks are better…. closer to the table.
SADLY, I found out that I LOST all of my GOOGLE friend followers…BIG BUMMER…

I was a google follower and now I am getting your feed. You will eventually get the people that really want to read follow you no matter what! Good Luck with the move!
Congrats on your move Lesli. I did the move in September. Now that I am used to it, I really like WordPress. If you don’t have the plugin called Akismet, it is extremely helpful in fitering spam comments. I’ll try to think of some other helpful hints, but that is the first one that comes to mind.

I moved to WordPress last August and love it. Do get akismet for spam. I notice you have spam on this post and if you get Akismet, it will filter 99% of your spam and you won’t have to do anything but hit the delete permanently button. It’s essential.
As to stats, you might want to install Google Analytics on your WP blog. It’s worth it and you can keep track of your stats just like you did on Blogger.
