are perhaps my favorites of the paintings

multiples of…I have done now 7 versions of this painting,
and each is special in it’s own way
and each of these very special cows
I named
“LILLY”
or some version of that beautiful name.
… because the pink and green remind me of Lilly Pulitzer.
