THESE ARE BUSY TIMES…
The end of the school year, as everyone knows
can be crazy busy….
Everything comes to a head…
Everything HAS to get done
and in my house…everyone but one child is having a Graduation.
It is all very VERY exciting.
Grandparents are coming and gifts are flowing, parties are being planned
and summer plans are beginning to take shape.
AS much as I am usually the last one to admit defeat…
or skirt an issue or shirk a task…
BLOG posts are just not happening.
There is no DIY-ing going on around here
unless you count
…the many times I am telling my children to please
just this once….
DO IT YOURSELF!
SO, I will not leave you hanging my loyal followers.
I will be posting many of the paintings that Have consumed me this
bustling month of MAY and
I am hoping, come this weeks end…
I may have another new look!!!

This painting was a bit of a different commission.
An old Graduate School chum of
my husband was here visiting and admired my work and
gave me carte blanche to paint him something
with a “JAZZ” theme.
While COLOR is my thing…not necessarily landscapes…and
As this friend LOVES Charlottesville and our beautiful Blue Ridge…
….this is what I created for him.
It is called:
“BLUE RIDGE MEDITATION”
